It's the Three Girls' Third Birthday, so head on out and celebrate with us!
FRIDAY, JUNE 10 - Dolour, the Catch, the Divorce at the Crododile
Café
In the interest of full-disclosure, we must reveal that this show is in part to celebrate Three Imaginary Girls' third birthday. It's also to rejoice in the release of the Catch's debut full-length, "Get Cool," a punk-pop dynamo with hooks that kill and sass galore. Come party with Seattle's most fetching girls (the Catch, of course), delight in the battle of the cutest Shane in Seattle (Tutmarc of Dolour or Barry of the Divorce) and toast your Absolut Mandarin to TIG turning three.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15 - Rilo Kiley, Feist at the Showbox
Rilo Kiley fills the gap Liz Phair left in our mix tapes. Their brazen lyrics are the perfect puzzle piece wedging in between Neko Case and PJ Harvey. Rilo Kiley’s newest release "More Adventurous" contains so many hit-worthy tracks it's every mix tape connoisseur's fantasy.
SUNDAY, JUNE 19 - The Mountain Goats at Neumos
The Mountain Goats are back in town, this time with a new album in hand, "The Sunset Tree.” The duo of John Darnielle and Peter Hughes are loved by the elitists for their minimalist indie-folk songs that are at once brainy, stunning and precise. Add their ability to flawlessly perform the most intricate of acoustic guitar parts while spewing lyrical webs and you've got yourself a riveting night worth putting down your crossword puzzle for..
