The beautiful and brilliant Hisako Nakaya has been an instructor of apparel design for over 25 years at the small Seattle college. Nikaya has been an inspiration for and influence on more than two generations of aspiring fashion designers and continues to shape up-and-coming design students. Her progeny are currently working in the fashion capitals of the world, as well as the smaller havens of fashion forward thinking like Seattle and Portland.
