If windows are not functional, i.e. cannot be opened, then it doesn't matter how beautiful they are. They are useless. Also, Gottlieb got his compass directions wrong, and the shul was built wrong. The aron kodesh is on the south wall, not east, the pews on the rabbi's side face west and those on the president's side face east, where the aron kodesh should be. I’m a scientist, not an artist.
