I relate it to the present day. Take Sarah Palin (please). I agree with her that the use of the word"retard" is wrong. She has a deep sensitivity to words especially inflamatory language. She said "reload", cross hairs" and "take up arms." You could feel the violence she meant in the chills running up and down your spine. Not so her coy backtracking when she said she just meant"vote." I believe she is following a Karl Rove script. Reality is what I say it is and I might say it is something completely different tomorrow and you better believe it because I wrapped myself in the flag.
