    Dear Senator Orrin Hatch,

We enjoyed this Hanukah song very much. It was done very nicely and good spirit. It had a very good beat. Thank you.

My goodness people Lighten up. No harm or slur was made about the Jewish people or their faith. It was done in all sincerity to the Jewish people by one imperfect man who wanted to give a gift. Receive in ‘in’ kind and open your hearts to love. Acceptance of others and acknowledgement of their beliefs is a great gift of love for others. For all of you who have tried to find fault and criticize what have you done to show your love for others?

  3. Alice says:

Cute song, but if Sen. Hatch loves Jews so much, why doesn’t he convert?

  4. A J Sochaczewski says:

    Sen Hatch nice job.
But really–I’ve often wondered why there aren’t any hanaka rock or country songs. If a celebrated musician were to put a nice music video out there I bet it’ll get some fame and renown. I mean think about it; it’s somthing no one elese has successfuly done.

  5. Becky says:

I loved it. Thanks for helping us non- Jews to understand a little of what Hanukkah is about.

  6. Donn Stoutenburg says:

I’m LDS and I think Sen Hatch has written a great song. All the comments that are so negative and cruel are a shame. I just finished reading Daniel Samson’s very interesting book “God and Evolution?” – required reading by everyone (published by SOLON PUBLISHING see http://www.solon777.net). He makes a very strong case for considering that the religious ‘evolution’ is or well be the key to the ultimate success and salvation of the human race – and all conscious and intelligent races found throughout the ‘multiverses’. Quoting from SOLON PUBLISHING mission statement “Our mission is to publish specific works that foster understanding, compassion and tolerance between the world’s major religions, peoples and cultures.”

  7. Merilyn says:

Intention is everything. Senator Hatch’s intention and inspriation are wonderful.

  8. Gail says:

Loved the song and the music. Also learned a little more about the Jewish culture. Knowledge is Freedom.

  9. Doris P. says:

I’m proud to be a Mormon and have a great leader in the Senate so open minded for knowledge and all my Jewish friends appreciate your respect for the Jewish race.
