Ended rather abruptly! More, Sarah, and an audio of your choir performing. Wonderful drawings, I must say.

Cranky Boots says:

A couple of years ago I was in Toronto on business and attended First Narayever for services on the last day of Passover – great place, very welcoming, knowledgeable people and a beautiful, musical service.

Does the choir sing for all services? Shabbat, festivals? B’nai mitzvah? I’m curious, because our choir at Temple David in Monroeville, PA, sings for everything, and I have always wondered if there were other all Jewish all volunteer choirs anywhere else. I would also like to hear your choir singing.

Bernice says:

I joined our choir in 1958, after hearing the High Holy day services at our Reform Congregation in Miami, Florida. I always loved to sing, had no formal training, but heard the music and fell in love with it. I sang as a soloist after a few years and served as a cantor on Cape Cod for 3 yrs and then Marco Island, Fl. for 4 yrs – I had a mini career and loved every minute of it. I am now 85 – had some physical problems, am active but cannot sing any longer. My love for the holiday music will never go away.
