It’s a week before the 18th anniversary of the bombing of the Buenos Aires Jewish Community Center that killed 85, and to help commemorate the occasion, that center, known as AMIA, has launched a campaign called “Pan de la Memoria”—bread of memory. Basically, as you can see, you make bread to share, so as never to forget. There’s also a list of the victims, and—¡claro que sí!—a recipe (margarina? really?).
As a quick refresher, Interpol has fingered seven Iranian officials of varying prominence for ordering Hezbollah to bomb AMIA. An Argentine prosecutor named Alberto Nisman has tried to indict several more, including former Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Despite that, Iran continues to block a substantial inquiry and denies that any of its citizens were responsible.
