Mayim Bialik and the Jewish EGOT
Guess how many MOTs have EGOTs?

It was announced today that Mayim Bialik, a Tablet contributor, was nominated for an Emmy, along with Lena Dunham and Max Greenfield.
If Bialik wins, she will be halfway toward the coveted EGOT, which in showbiz speak is an acronym for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony, the quadrennial to which many artists aspire. (In this case, the Tony would be replaced by Tablet contributor, but let’s not let the truth get in the way of a good story.)
This led me to wonder how many of those who had EGOTed before were Jewish? Fortunately, the Scroll-editor emeritus had the answer, six according to a report filed in February. That’s six of twelve.
