Israel Reportedly Rejects Ceasefire Deal

Things are heating up, not cooling off

A Building in Rishon KeZion(Twitter)

According to the Times of Israel, which is quoting Channel 2, which is citing Egyptian intelligence (yup), the latest draft of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas–mediated by Egypt– has been rejected. The press conference meant to announce the ceasefire has also been canceled.

Meanwhile, the Israeli death toll has risen to five after an IDF soldier and a Bedouin were killed earlier today in mortar attacks from Gaza. The rocket that struck a building in Rishon LeZion (see image above) was a Fajr-5 warhead loaded with 100 kilograms of explosives. Israel attacks on Gaza targets have continued through the night.

To quote many a commenter, if the ceasefire doesn’t happen tonight, which it doesn’t appear it will, things are likely to get much worse.

When is a Bedouin living in Israel and Israeli or thought of as a Bedouin? Reminds me of when terrorists blew up cafes in Paris and some minister separated those killed between native French and Jews.

Plumbline says:

Hamas thugs and despots…….how can you have any peace with these criminal minds…………
