The Hanukkah Houston Hoedown

Bringing the cheer to the Lone Star State

(YouTube)

As a native Texan, I’m sometimes called out for talking too brashly about the chosenness of the Lone Star State. But there are some days when I get word from home that reminds that Texas really is a special place and that Houston, in particular, seems to be a pretty wonderful place for the Jews.

Today’s evidence: Last night’s Houston Rockets game. (h/t Albert Rubinsky)

Favorite highlight: About 50 seconds in, one of the dancing rabbis performs something of a Riverdance-Cotton Eyed Joseph maneuver. That dude is BAD!
