“…Israeli jets struck what is thought to be a convey carrying weapons…”

Israel struck at a noun, not a verb although the noun was probably verbing a controversial cargo.

No, John Kerry as Sec’y of State does not have a nice ring to it. Indeed, it was his oft-repeated statement during the 2004 campaign that he would subject US foreign policy to “the global test” that drove me into the hands of one George Bush. Furthermore, Kerry by his multiple fawning visits to one Bashar Assad during the first 2 years of the Obama administration exquisitely demonstrated his naivete, poor understanding, and downright ignorance about the middle east in general and Syria in particular.

But I guess all this qualifies Kerry to be Obama’s Secretary of State. And to merit equally fawning praise from the Tabletarians.
