The AIPAC policy conference might be over, but the party is just getting started: Page Six, the New York Post gossip institution, published some choice lines from Curb Your Enthusiasm actor Richard Kind’s emcee gig at the conference’s gala event. Better add the 2014 conference to your social calendar, stat.

As host, Kind cracked, “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We are gathered here tonight to select a new pope” in front of politicos including Joe Biden and Ehud Barak. “It’s a great night for Israel. It’s a great night for Israel-American relations. It’s a terrible night for Chinese restaurants,” was another hit line.

They forgot to mention the part where Kind tried to get someone in the well-heeled audience of 13,000 to hire his son, but that’s what we’re here for.
