• As authorities investigate whether the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing had received training, some officials believe that more attacks were being planned by the suspects. [NYT]

• An Iranian agent has been arrested in Bulgaria for reportedly monitoring Chabad. The news comes several months after a bus bombing killed five Israelis in Burgas, an attack for which Hezbollah and Iran were implicated. [JPost]

• U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is working to make sure that Turkish-Israeli reconciliation comes to fruition. One of the first steps would seem to be keeping Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan from visiting Gaza. [LAT]

• E.L. Konigsburg, author of the favorite children’s book From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, has died at age 83. [NPR]
