• According to U.S. officials, the CIA asked the National Counterterrorism Center to put Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bombing suspect, on its terror list over a year before last week’s attack. [WaPo]
• The scandal featuring Rabbi Michael Broyde, who admitted to using a fictitious online identity to comment on his own work, has grown with new allegations that Broyde had a second online identity. [The Jewish Channel]
• A public memorial service was held in Cambridge, Massachusetts today for an MIT security officer, who was reportedly killed by the two Boston Marathon bombing suspects last week. Vice President Joe Biden praised Sean Collier, the fallen officer. [NYT]
