(Christopher Moloney)

The Design Observer Group blog has a post today about photographer Christopher Moloney, who tracks down the backgrounds of scenes from famous films and lines them up with their present day location. There are a ton across New York and elsewhere, but naturally, I gravitated to the picture above of Woody Allen and Diane Keaton from Annie Hall.

The background looks the same, so much has happened. Y’know?

Simple idea…but very lovely. Granted, the “Annie Hall” selection biases me, too.
