Four rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israel on Thursday afternoon, and sirens sounded in the Northern Israeli cities Nahariya, Acre, and Kiryat Shmona, the Times of Israel reports. Three of the rockets landed in a field near of Nahariya, and the fourth was intercepted by an Iron Dome battery. So far there have been no reports of casualties or damage.

Lebanese media reported that two volleys of rockets had been fired from a Palestinian refugee camp near Tyre into Israel.

A resident of Kibbutz Evron, near Nahariya, told Ynet that the alarm sounded only after “two booms” were heard, and that the residents quickly moved into bomb shelters.

Yesterday we noted that an Iron Dome battery was deployed in Netanya, outside Tel Aviv, which the Israeli Air Force said was part of normal testing and operational procedure.
