Trip Advisor, a travel website, just published its listing of the Top 25 Museums in the World according to travelers who have rated their visits to these renowned sites. Coming in at No. 22 is none other than Jerusalem’s Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, accompanied by an evening-lit panoramic image of the site. Notably, Yad Vashem beat out the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in Xian, China (we all ooh-ed and ahh-ed about it in grade school), but didn’t quite outpace Brazil’s Inhotim, where “a giant garden oasis that is as impeccably maintained as Disneyland,” according to one reviewer, or, more relevantly, The National WWII Museum in New Orleans (No. 15).

Last year, Yad Vashem was listed as the No. 10 top museum in the world. According to Trip Advisor, these lists are made “using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews for museums worldwide, gathered over a 12-month period.”
