Welcome back to #TrumpWatch, where Tablet will present the daily low-lights of Donald Trump’s attempt to use the dark forces of bigotry to become President of the United States.

Over the weekend, Donald Trump’s efforts make America great again brought him to Florida, his second home, where he arrived by helicopter at the WGC-Cadillac tournament that’s played on one of his golf courses, which means you know the greens are smooth and the fairways long, real long, guaranteed long, believe me, I’m running for president, believe me. Trump signed autographs in his blue suit in the Sunshine State the day after “Super Saturday,” in which he won delegates from two states but gave up valuable ground to Ted Cruz, his closest competitor for the Republican nomination. Still, Trump remains the man, despite continued attempts to stop the real estate mogul in his steaming tracks.

Recently, the anti-Trump chorus has firmly landed on labeling the demagogue as the second coming of Adolf Hitler. In an email to his fans, Comedian Louis C.K. wrote: “Please stop it with voting for Trump. It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler… Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all.”

Later, C.K. wrote: “[Trump’s] an insane bigot. He is dangerous.”

Saturday Night Live also chimed in with a skit of their own, playing on white supremacist groups that support the Republican frontrunner.

Liberal funnyman Bill Maher had a hoot with Trump as well:

But let’s place the joking aside, put it right back in our golf bags, and take a look at a Trump rally in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, in which he gets the crowd raise their right hands and pledge to vote for him. But before he does he says, “OK, everybody, wait. Who likes me in this room?”

Trump, it appears, wanted people to raise their right hands as though they were being sworn in to give a testimony in court. But the results of the collective gesture, appear quite different.
