Soon you’ll be able to read all about Ruth Bader Ginsburg, according to Ruth Bader Ginsburg. And who wouldn’t want to mull over the words the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court (Sandra Day O’Connor, Sonia Sotomayor) who has long fought for same-sex marriage, and immigrant and reproductive rights?

Last week, publisher Simon & Schuster announced it had acquired the right to My Own Words, a compendium of essays and speeches given by RBG, slated for released in January 2017. (Simon and Schuster will also be publishing a biography of RBG that will be released after My Own Words.) From S&S:

My Own Words will be a selection of writings and speeches by Justice Ginsburg on wide-ranging topics, including gender equality, the workways of the Supreme Court, on being Jewish, on law and lawyers in opera, and on the value of looking beyond U.S. shores when interpreting the U.S. Constitution. Throughout her life Justice Ginsburg has been (and continues to be) a prolific writer and public speaker. The writings will be selected by Justice Ginsburg and her authorized biographers Mary Hartnett (Adjunct Professor, Georgetown Law) and Wendy W. Williams (Professor Emerita, Georgetown Law). Justice Ginsburg will write an introduction to the book, and Hartnett and Williams will write introductions to each of the chapters…

If you are can’t wait for this book, quell your excitement by checking out Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s remarks/speeches on the Supreme Court website, dating back to 2000. And if that isn’t enough, Newsweek has put together a nice list of ways to enjoy RBG proir to the book’s release, such as reading a 2013 New Yorker profile, or by purchasing an RBG coloring book (this exists, I know).
