Jehudah Ben-Israel says:

Sad, very sad that a person calling himself a rabbi doesn’t appreciate the Jewish people’s affinity and attachment to the place that is and has been the heart of Jewish civilization for over 3,000 years. Fortunately, the same rabbi who was present at the “J Street” convention represents a minority of Jews worldwide.

The very figure of a rabbi, from the Mishna, the Midrash and the Talmud, is a figure who engages in conversation, debate, and disagreement with colleagues. How very un-Jewish of Jehudah Ben-Israel to legitimacy of another rabbi’s opinion–especially, as in this case, an opinion whose fundamental vision is to saves lives.

Darla Dyer says:

To Jonathan Gerard, please tell me when was the last time that anytime Israel agreed to anything the Palestinians wanted, that it saved lives. Never for as long as I can remember have the Palestinians stuck to their part of any agreement and it’s only brought the terrorists closer to their target and that’s the lives of the Jews whom they wish to exterminate.

Rachel says:

Big ups for posting BNL!
