To the last respondent, thanks for your enthusiasm. The problem isn’t in the editing as we realized with Lesson One, it’s the inability to enter edits into computer with current technology. But we’re working on it. Yes, “redn iz zilber, shvaygn iz gold”…(we were waiting for someone to catch this and we will change it—soon, I hope). Let us know what Yiddish-language software you are using (it looks superb!)And tune in on Friday.

Yiddish does live, but to me its culture often seems to linger in a previous generation. What a great way to welcome Yiddish, and its speakers of all ages and generations, into the future by giving it a place in pop culture. I love it!

Over half a million people speak Yiddish there as their first language. Same for kids.

a dank. some friends and I have been studying Yiddish for 2 yrs. Classes dont meet in the summer but we will. The Yiddisher Pop will be a great learning tool for us.
