Shalom Freedman says:

The first thought in regard to Hitchens is ‘refuah shlemah.’
The second is that while he is a person of great intelligence and humor he suffers from an arrogant assurance of his own rightness in everything.
For instance .The attributing of the modern picture of the world which undermines Man’s place as special creation is by no means a ‘Jewish’ work. Copernicus to Darwin Mankind has made this transformation without any necessarily Jewish contribution.
Thirdly, Hitchens view of the Jewish religion is an outsider’s view and extremely simplistic.
He also does not show a great deal of sensitivity to those who do believe in God and who live in a traditional Jewish way.

My friend is turning 30 one month before me and I’m hoping to go visit her in Omaha. First, I must lose a LOT of weight& buy a new wardrobe.
