Does Bloomberg Think Obama Is ‘Arrogant’?

More important, should we care?

Late Friday, it broke that Rupert Murdoch told an Australian publication (interestingly, one he does not own) that Michael Bloomberg had told Murdoch that he found President Obama the most “arrogant” man he had ever met. The reason we care, of course, is that some in Bloomberg’s circle want the Jewish New York City mayor to run for president (a new New Yorker piece reports he might be willing to spend between $1 to $3 billion of his own money on a campaign; for what it’s worth, Ross Perot’s son-in-law thinks it maybe a good idea. A Bloomberg candidacy in turn could very well be how one former Alaska governor finds herself in the White House. (Saleswoman’s gotta dream!)

An amusing sidenote concerns exactly how Murdoch quoted Hizzoner: According to Murdoch, Bloomberg said, “I never met in my life such an arrogant man.” And I never met in my life an Aussie media baron with such an ear for a Yiddish-inflected manner of speaking!

That was a major gaffe by Bloomberg. Hizzego shouldn’t even bring up the subject of arrogance.

What chutzpah, Mr. Bloomberg calling someone arrogant?

Chutzpah or not, Bloomberg is right on the money! (No pun intended.

Elle Hyson says:

Bloomburg and Murdoch – the perfect pair – high arrogance and low journalism – they really fit together.

If Obama lacks diplomacy then Mayor Bloomberg can afford to be arrogant.

Yaakov Hillel says:

It really does not make a difference who will fill Obama’s shoes and the sooner the better. The amount of damage done to the world in and out side the USA, Whether its the employment issue, or the medicare issue or the Iranian-somalian-Bin-Laden mosque at ground zero. He has gone from the ridiculous to the sublime, to talk about chutzpah is nothing compared to the damage this Islamo-leftist has done. What is important today is save America from Obama back patting Achmedinejad on the back when he has a finger on the button that may wipe Washington or New york city off the face of the world. He tried it once and succeeded, no saying he will not try it again we must take this one seriously.

To clarify, I agree totally with all the negative readings on Mr. Obama. He is what everyone says and he is arrogant, and probably will go down as the President who did the most damage to the US and the free world

My use of the word chutzpah in regard to the Mayor was because I found it odd for a super arrogant person to call someone else arrogant. (But I guess that’s one of the difinitions of arrogant). The Mayor will probably go down as the Mayor who did not know there are people living in NYC. The thought of him being President, as he will then have a whole country to ignore, is very scary.

concerned.for.America says:

obama is the most arrogant America hater that I have ever listened to. In the interview with Bill oReilly, this man laughed at everything Bill asked him. He cares not about the American public nor the cares and concerns of the citizens of the US. What he IS adamant about is his rise in ruling the world.. Do not listen to what obama says but watch carefully to what he DOES. America is in a deep need for a President that has love for this country and not this muslim lover obama!! Lord help us all if obama wins the 2012 vote.
