The real Jewish Alps, tips for Tablet, and a Nazi Jesus

Print Email

It’s Day Two for Tablet Magazine, and there’s plenty for you to read. The blog you’re reading, The Scroll, will be updated throughout the day with opinionated links to coverage we’re interested in elsewhere, like in our latest “Daybreak” morning-news roundup. New content today includes Liel Leibovitz’s look at the largely unknown history of Jews in the Alps (the real Alps, that is—not the “Jewish Alps,” also known as the Catskills). Leibovitz also provides a video interview with ethnic-newspaper editors, providing tips and advice to the Tablet team. And Paula Fredriksen reviews Susannah Heschel’s Aryan Jesus, which traces the history of the Institute for the Study and Eradication of Jewish Influence on German Church Life, a Nazi-era German think tank devoted to portraying a more Aryan Christianity.

I own read your current article. It’s really helpful. We can certainly benefit considerably from them. Fluent creating style in addition to vivid terms make usa readers like reading. I can share a person’s opinions through my close friends.

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new surveys are added- checkbox and today whenever a comment is added I purchase four emails using the same comment. Will there be any way you may remove me from that service? Thanks!
