Rachel Shteir’s latest dispatch on Rahm Emanuel’s mayoral candidacy today in Tablet Magazine details how his adept treatment of the blizzard that recently hit Chicago has left him primed to win the elections later this month. Of course, Emanuel has also been blessed by his rivals: “It’s easier to play Good Candidate,” Shteir observes, “when you’ve got others to play Bad.”
