Bill would ban bans

A bill just made it out of a Knesset committee, over the objections of the Foreign and Justice Ministries (but with the support of members from both Likud and Kadima), that would apparently—there’s no other way to put this—outlaw the boycotting of Israel. Specifically, it would allow Israeli organizations or people targeted by boycotts to sue.

Not clear yet on whether all Israelis will now be required to purchase Sabra hummus.
