Take a Trip to Israel With Glenn Beck

An imagined photo-diary

“I wonder what’s on TV right now.”(All photos from )

Glenn Beck is in the Holy Land! With David Barton, the conservative pseudo-historian with a white-supremacist past! He had plans to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu! But most importantly, he is keeping a running photo-diary of his trip. Let’s follow him, shall we?

“But why do they call it Jerusalem stone?”

“I want that.”

“I know the Wayfarers make it confusing, but, no, I am not related to the folk musician Bob Dylan.”

“Where’d Barton go? Where’d Barton go?? Oh, whew, there you are. Sorry, I couldn’t see you because of your camouflage yarmulke.”

“You’ll have to help me—does ‘Glenn’ have one or two ns?”

“Nothing like delicious, locally raised pork.”

Forest says:

Speaking as an Israeli I’ll take Glenn Beck over Obama any day. He is at least a true friend.

Lansing Reed says:

Tony Kushner, a generally unknown hack who calls Israel a mistake, is treated on your site with respect and care. Mr. Beck, who has following that runs into the millions and who is a true friend of Israel and the Jews, gets childish snark, disrespect and disdain. Way to go, Tablet.

Wendy says:

Kushner, Beck and Barton are all jerks (but that’s just my opinion). Thanks Tablet for continuing to keep us in the loop of all things Jewish-from sublime to ridiculous, and everything in between. And thanks Mom and Dad, for teaching me to read, discern and make up my own mind, regardless of temper of the information source.

Jack Hansen says:

I crack up at the captions, especially the last one referring to the locally raised pork sandwich. I love these guys, their heart is where mine is; and so is Israel’s. I respect Netanyahu as a great leader in the world today who understands the differences within his own nation and expresses himself so eloquently. I heard Glenn today on the radio stating how much safer he felt in Israel because the people there are awake.

It’s very good post.
