Israel, Buy American!
One way to improve U.S. relations
June 22, 2011
A Jerusalem think tank suggested that Israel start buying cars made in the good ol’ U.S. of A., rather than in Europe or Japan (as it currently does, generally), as it replenishes old cars in its government’s 50,000-vehicle fleet. Not necessarily because American cars are better—ALTHOUGH YOU’RE DARN TOOTIN’ THEY ARE!—but because it would be good for the countries’ relations. Plus, if they buy enough Chevys, maybe Eminem will play Ramat Gan, too.
