Greece Halts Flotilla

Gaza-bound boats postponed until at least next Tuesday

The Audacity of Hope pushes off this morning.(@USBOATTOGAZA)

Though The Audacity of Hope, the American ship, briefly left port today, it was soon ordered to return, and Greece has forbid all vessels currently docked in its waters and bound for Gaza from leaving today. Word is that the earliest they could conceivably sail is next Tuesday. “As commandos point their weapons, passengers are singing ‘we shall overcome’ in the middle of the Athens sea #flotilla,” Joseph Dana, of The Nation and +972, tweeted, but that remains to be seen.

another classic 972 piece from today, and right along Joseph Dana’s line of thought.

I might add that the letter is on par with Dana’s intellectual depth.

I hope they are stopped altogether since rather than helping bring about peace or even helping the Gazans they are merely there for political reasons and for publicity for its own sake.

What Gaza needs is free elections and a government that will allow freedom for everyone not just Islamicist men.

Singing “we shall overcome” for Hamas? They are a little confused aren’t they?

Do they really think Hamas is a “civil rights” organization?

I wonder what these people’s real agenda is?
