There are remarkable claims in a new memoir by Jack O’Connell, a retired CIA agent turned lawyer to Jordanian King Hussein; most notably, O’Connell claims that without authorization he told the king that Israel planned to pre-emptively strike the Arab forces massed in June 1967.
