Happy Tu B’Av!

Better know a holiday

Print Email

Today is Tu B’Av, the final holiday of the Jewish year and the closest thing the religion has to Valentine’s Day. (Its origins surround the grape harvest; you can probably figure out how it came to be about love from there). If you’re in Israel, Tu B’Av can mean speed-dating in a cave; if you’re in America, why not consult Tablet Magazine’s Tu B’Av playlist, which, because we’re twisted that way, is actually much better suited for break-ups?
