• Turkey is deliberately hosting a Syrian group engaged in armed opposition to President Assad just across the border. Big news. [NYT]

• The Palestinian Authority upped the current to-do over Foreign Minister Lieberman’s recent statement—in which he called President Abbas “the greatest obstacle” and suggested he be removed—by complaining to the U.N. Security Council of incitement. [Haaretz]

• The former prisoners freed as part of the Gilad Shalit deal adjust to life in the territories as celebrities. Celebrities who are terrorists. [NYT]
