This week’s winner is “Batami,” who writes, of Jenna Wiseman Joselit’s appreciation of Sharon Ya’ari’s photographs for the American Colony Photo Department, “I’m sure your readers will love to see the nearly 100 photo essays based on the Library of Congress/American Colony photos that have already been been published over the last 6 months by Lenny Ben-David.”

So, photo buffs, go check that stuff out: the history of Israel through photos. And “Batami,” enjoy your copy of the new biography Ben-Gurion, since without its subject, those photos likely wouldn’t exist.
