Liel Leibovitz was all set to deplore Seinfeld‘s “Festivus” episode for its replacement of meaningful religion with religion’s empty structures for his weekly “Arbiter” column. Then Christopher Hitchens, that famed anti-religious atheist, died, and instead Leibovitz broadened his critique to all that is frivolous and that is dogmatic under the sun, which turns out to be quite a lot.
