After each weekend, we choose the most interestingly Jewish announcement from that Sunday’s New York Times Weddings/Celebrations section. This week, it’s that of Jill Drossman and Daniel Cohen, married yesterday with Cantor Bette Cohen, mother of the groom, assisting in the ceremony. The groom himself is a Democratic committeeman representing an Upper West Side district that includes all of Central Park. He also does mortgages for moderately-priced housing. The bride, meanwhile, is a clinical psychologist who received her Ph.D from Yeshiva U. Mazel tov to the hapy couple!
