Today in Tablet Magazine, David Fine continues his coverage of the Orthodox Jewish student at Barnard who alleged that Middle East studies department chair Rachel McDermott told her she would not be comfortable in a class taught by Columbia professor Joseph Massad. The Department of Education has since dismissed the investigation, but the student claims McDermott misrepresented the incident to federal investigators.
