This week on Unorthodox, live from UJA-Federation of NY: The Oscars’ Jewish highlights (and lowlights).

Our Jewish guest, Adam Kantor, plays the tailor Motel Kamzoil in the Broadway revivial of Fiddler on the Roof, which opened in December. He made his Broadway debut in 2008, the year he graduated college, as Mark Cohen in Rent. He tells us about his journey across Eastern Europe this summer, where he explored his roots and visited Sholem Aleichem’s birthplace, the time he played Tevye in a middle-school production of Fiddler, and the Jewish grandmothers who try to set him up after the show.
