• A member of the Satmar community in Brooklyn has been indicted on charges stemming from his alleged attack on a rabbi earlier this month. Sources believe the rabbi was attacked for helping a sexual abuse victim come forward in the case against Nechemya Weberman, a local Satmar counselor. [JTA]
• A new Pew Poll shows that American support for Israel has not changed following the country’s Operation Pillar of Defense in Gaza. According to the poll, the American public is also extremely wary of intervening in the Syrian civil war. [Pew]
