In a few days time, what’s being heralded as one of the first Israeli action horror movies (other than this clip of Ehud Barak singing at a military graduation) will be screening at a film festival in Israel (h/t Tal Kra Oz). The film Cannon Fodder marries two important geo-political staples: the enmity between Israel and Hezbollah and the enmity between mankind and zombies.

The result: blood, gore, some questionable dialogue, and an unlikely alliance between the IDF and Hezbollah as they..try to fend off a zombie invasion. (I think,) Here’s the trailer.

Do not watch if you’re skittish. And be on the lookout for Liron Levo, who’s been in a slew of good movies in recent years.
