• According to reports, Iran and Israel, along with other Arab states took part in secret nuclear talks last month in Switzerland. [Jerusalem Post]

• Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu and Vladimir Putin are scheduled to meet later this month in Moscow. [Times of Israel]

• Chana Mlotek, the Yiddish music archivist who along with her husband—a team Isaac Bashevis Singer called “the Sherlock Holmeses of Yiddish folk songs”—published three songbooks of Yiddish music, has died at 91. [NYT]

• Former Claims Conference employee Semen Domnitser was found guilty of orchestrating $57 million fraud scheme while working at the Holocaust restitution organization, sentenced to eight years in prison and ordered to pay back $57.3 million. [JTA]
