The Sochi Olympics start tonight, which, in protest of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s abhorrent treatment of gays and lesbians, Tablet won’t be covering. We’re not the only ones concerned about Putin’s anti-gay policies—one worried Jewish grandmother left her gay grandson the most adorably perfect voicemail warning him to stay far, far away from Sochi during his upcoming travel.
