When it comes to snow in Israel, when it rains it pours. That is to say cities like Jerusalem, which really aren’t equipped to deal with any amount of snow, often shut down in anticipation of the annual or biennial light snowfall that hits the region. Schools close, stores shutter, roads get blocked off, all before it even starts snowing.
