One More Haim

For the last month or so, the Haim sisters have been releasing new songs, performing them, and piquing our interest ever so carefully as they head toward the official release of their second album on July 7, which will be followed by a mostly West Coast tour at summer’s end. For Tablet readers, one thing should be clear: Haim is the Jewish band of the moment. But make no mistake, Haim’s allure extends far beyond their background: These L.A.-based musicians are very talented, and they can rock the fuck out and break your heart at once. I predict they will be making headline for years to come. Turns out, they have a sense of humor, too.

In a new Funny or Die video, the Haim sisters—Este, Danielle, and Alana—hang out with the fourth Haim sibling, Frime Haim, played by Brie Larson. Wholesome hilarity ensues.
