Last week, the Judean Rebels won the title for the fifth season of the Kraft Family I.F.L.—Israel’s fledgling tackle football league, which is sponsored by Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots. The Rebels, a settler team (which nonetheless also includes fierce Palestinian pass-rushers from Ramallah), took on the Jerusalem Kings—whose quarterback is the son of former IDF chief-of-staff Gabi Ashkenazi—and crushed them, 66-20. Daniel Kraft, Bob Kraft’s less-famous and more-resembling-his-father son, was there for the festivities, as you can see in the video below.

In case you can’t tell, the Rebels in the picture at the top of this post are “Tebowing,” which is appropriate, since that meme was invented by a Jewish kid.

As for the Pats, a Tablet Magazine team, they have already guaranteed themselves a first-round bye in the playoffs; if they win the final regular-season game on New Year’s Day (they will), they guarantee home-field advantage until the Super Bowl, assuming they don’t choke before then.
