Tablet is hosting a Hanukkah pop-up experience that’s one part bar, one part appetizing shop, and one part study hall, combining Jewish spirit and spirits to warm up your winter.
Upon entering the West Side Comedy Club on Sunday, Dec 18 and Monday, Dec. 19, you’ll receive a complimentary shot of vodka and a taste of smoked fish from Sherry Herring. Each evening will start with a Hanukkiah lighting and some schmoozing, and then you’ll be treated to a few brief and thunderous talks from some of the most innovative thinkers, doers, and dreamers in Jewish life today. We’ll be featuring the sort of conversations you wish you heard at your local bar, or your local synagogue, or wherever it is you go for inspiration. Admission is free, registration required, enlightenment guaranteed.
