Tablet Studios is hiring a community manager to oversee audience communication and social media

Do you never miss an episode of Unorthodox? Feel overly invested in the aluminum foil/Saran Wrap debate? Are you always telling your friends about something you heard on one of our shows? Then you should consider applying to be our new Community Manager!
We’re looking for someone to join our team as our audience aficionado, responsible for engaging and growing the community of listeners tuning into Tablet Studios shows by shaping online communications that speak to our listeners. We’re looking for someone with design skills and the ability to create tailored outreach and engagement strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with the listener community of all our shows across communication channels including email, newsletters, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Working with our production team to highlight relevant clips from upcoming episodes.
- Creating appealing visual content for Tablet Studios social channels, email newsletters, and more.
- Overseeing episode promotion and new show launches.
- Growing our social media accounts; converting listeners to followers and vice versa.
- Expanding the reach of our episodes and shows by researching potential audience segments and conducting necessary outreach.
- Assisting with live events and experiences.
- Designing merchandise.
- Serving as an ambassador for Tablet Studios in-person and online
The Community Manager is a highly motivated individual who has a passion for building community and a deep love for our shows. They are not only comfortable with social media, but have a demonstrated ability for social media management, including content and strategy. They exude professionalism and good judgment when representing our brands.
This is a six-month position, requiring roughly 20 hours of work per week, starting in June 2022 at our offices in New York City. Remote candidates will also be considered.
