Amanda Peet, David Benioff Expand Their Brood
The actress and ‘Game of Thrones’ co-creator welcome third child

Low-key but very cool Jewish couple Amanda Peet and David Benioff welcomed their third child, the Los Angeles Times reports. A representative for the actress and the Game of Thrones co-creator confirmed that son Henry Peet Friedman was born Sunday, and joins siblings Frances Pen Friedman, 7, and Molly June Friedman, 4. (Benioff was born David Friedman, but uses his mother Barbara Benioff’s maiden name professionally; “He didn’t want to be known as the 50th David Friedman in Hollywood,” the writer-producer’s father, former Goldman Sachs chief Steven Friedman, has said.)
The couple, married since 2006, has been busy lately. Benioff is showrunner and writer for HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, adapted from George R.R. Martin’s book series of the same name. Benioff spoke to Vox Tablet about his novel City of Thieves in 2008.
Peet, as we giddily reported in May, is writing a children’s book about growing up Jewish. Dear Santa, Love Rachel Rosenstein will be published in 2015.
Mazel tov to the Peet-Benioff-Friedman clan.
