• Israeli embassies are mobilizing to fight hard to deter votes for Palestinian statehood in the U.N. General Assembly, according to secret cables. [Haaretz]

• In a victory for the United States, the International Atomic Energy Agency censured Syria and referred it to the U.N. Security Council for alleged nuclear violations. [WSJ]
