Life is good for Drake’s ego. On the evening before Thanksgiving, the Toronto Raptors, the only remaining NBA team from Canada (R.I.P. Vancouver Grizzlies) played host to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Drake, their homegrown star and celeb ambassador. For this “Drake Night,” which is becoming an annual event, the Raptors brass pulled out the red carpet for their most famous fan. Everything was coming up drizzled in Drake.
The stadium played Drake’s music throughout the night. The players wore uniforms inspired by Drake’s clothing brand, OVO. He sat courtside with him mom:
He announced the starters, having lots of fun with it too, as they played his music in the background:
And, finally, if that wasn’t enough Drake for you, the Raptors set up a replica of the booth from Drizzy’s “Hotline Bling” video, allowing fans to create their own version of the Internet sensation.
The Raptors beat the Cavs 103-99.
