Today, June 9, is Tablet’s seventh birthday.
Shavuot—which represents the end of the seven-week period following Passover, and celebrates the giving of the original tablets—begins just a few days from now. So numerologically, this feels like an auspicious moment for us.
This week will also mark the end of our first spring fundraising drive, which, thanks to your generosity, has been a great success.
We work hard to bring you the smart and serious coverage of the Jewish world you’ve come to expect from Tablet, and it means a lot to us to know there
are so many eager readers who appreciate what we do.
And what we do has expanded over the last few months. We’ve gone from only publishing online to producing a freestanding (and wholly unique) print magazine as well.
But great Jewish journalism doesn’t come cheap, and so we’re asking you to help sustain our work. You can make a tax-deductible contribution by clicking here.
Thanks for reading, thanks for your support, and best wishes for a Happy Shavuot and a great summer.
Alana Newhouse is the editor-in-chief of Tablet Magazine.
